Hailey's Story

My journey as a professional photographer started in one of the most difficult chapters of my life.

About five years ago, I was in an abusive relationship, and it was through that experience—and eventually leaving—that I realized my true calling: helping women feel seen, safe, and celebrated for who they truly are.

Since then, I help every woman who steps in front of my camera to feel empowered to embody her truth.

Work with me

"Hailey is the most amazing and kind person with photography skills that are unparalleled. Not only does she make it feel like there's no camera between us and her, but she makes the experience so fun, inviting, and comfortable. She gets to know her clients before the session and really puts in the effort to do so. Communication is smooth and effortless with her. We will always choose her for our photos! Look no further and book her NOW!"

How would you desribe your photography style?

My style is artistic, creative, and deeply authentic. I believe in going beyond the surface, asking meaningful questions, and really getting to know my clients so I can capture not just an image, but the essence of their story, their journey, and their brand.

For personal branding sessions, my aesthetic is clean, modern, and minimal—but it’s always rooted in authenticity. I want the images we create to reflect the true personality of your brand, not just what it looks like, but what it feels like. I focus on capturing where you’re at now and where you want to go, helping you show up confidently and consistently for the future you’re building.

For my illumination sessions, the vibe shifts to something more spiritual and raw. I embrace a creative, emotive, and sometimes blurry style, where the natural landscape becomes a reflection of your inner emotional landscape. Every grain, every blur, every element in the frame has a purpose—an intentional way to tell your unique story.

Ultimately, whether I’m photographing you for your brand or guiding you through a deeply personal session, my goal is the same: to create images that feel as real, powerful, and transformative as the woman in them.

Where have you traveled to?

I'm happy to travel almost anywhere to capture your story and memories.

In North America, I've visited/worked in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, Colorado, Arizona, BC Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, Texas, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

In Europe, I've been to/worked in England, Scotland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Italy.

Have you always wanted to be a photographer?

Yes! I received my first digital camera on my 13th birthday, and it changed my life. It was a little red Nikon Coolpix that I took around everywhere with me. I would spend hours in the backyard taking photos of flowers and think, "It would be so cool to travel the world and take photos". Ever since then, the dream has been there. It took me years to finally start, but here we are!

What's a book you've read that has changed your life?

Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search For Meaning" is an extremely moving book, and it has altered the way I choose to see life. Frankl was a survivor of Auschwitz and a psychiatrist. He was able to find meaning in the most tragic of circumstances imaginable. Frankl taught me a lot about the human condition and the limitless capacity for creating meaning if we choose it.

How would you describe your vibe as a photographer?

I would say my vibe as a photographer is calm, easygoing, funny, attentive, and happy. The feedback I've received from my clients has been that I am very helpful with planning, checking in, and making them feel seen and prepared for an incredible shoot.

What does being a photographer mean to you?

Being a photographer to me is so much more than just capturing a moment with a camera. It’s about creating a safe space for women to be seen—truly seen—for who they are, beyond the surface. It’s about diving deep into their stories, their energy, and their truth, and turning those elements into something tangible and powerful.

Photography is my way of helping others step into their power, feel confident, and embrace their uniqueness. Every shoot is a collaboration, a chance for me to ask meaningful questions and connect with the person in front of the lens, so I can bring out their essence in a way that feels real and raw. I’m not interested in perfection; I’m interested in authenticity, in capturing moments that reflect the heart and soul of the person I’m photographing.

For me, photography is an opportunity to tell a story—one that goes beyond the image itself and speaks to the depth of who you are. Whether it’s showing the strength of a woman in business or illuminating her emotional landscape through creative imagery, it’s about creating something that allows her to be truly herself. It’s my mission to help women embrace their light, to celebrate their journey, and to show up in the world with confidence and joy.

At its core, being a photographer means being a witness to transformation—whether it’s in a brand, a story, or a moment of deep personal growth. It’s an honor to be part of that process, and it’s something I carry with me in every session.

How would your closest friends describe you?

This is what I got when I asked that question:

We would describe you as a soulful, deeply empathetic person who always goes the extra mile to make others feel seen, safe, and valued. We admire your creative spirit—someone who has an incredible eye for detail and can see beauty in the most unexpected places. You’re the kind of friend who asks the big, meaningful questions and listens with a depth that makes others feel heard, never just listened to.

We also describe you as someone who radiates warmth—both in your energy and in the way you show up for those you care about. You bring people together and help them feel confident in their own skin, and you have this natural ability to make others feel comfortable and at ease, even in vulnerable moments.

You’re the friend who’s both grounded and inspired, the one we turn to when we need support, clarity, or just a good laugh. You’ve been through your own challenges, and because of that, you bring a unique level of resilience and empathy to everything you do, whether it’s in your personal life or through your work.

We also call you passionate—about your art, your mission, and your commitment to empowering women. You have this quiet, yet unwavering strength about you that encourages those around you to step into their own power.

What matters the most to you?

What matters most to me is creating a world where women feel *seen*, *empowered*, and *safe* in their own skin. It’s about helping others embrace their truth without the pressure to conform to unrealistic standards or expectations. My own journey has shown me the power of transformation, and I’ve made it my life’s mission to help others experience that same sense of liberation.

It’s the deep connections—those moments of real vulnerability where someone lets down their guard and shows up as their most authentic self—that fuel me. I'm passionate about helping others celebrate their light, their strengths, and their stories, and I believe that everyone deserves to be captured in their most radiant, truthful form.

I value authenticity over perfection, creativity over convention, and the ability to make a real impact through the work I do. The idea of helping women find joy, confidence, and freedom in their personal and professional lives is what drives me every day.

Ultimately, what matters most to me is using my gifts to create a space where others can truly thrive—whether that’s through photography, words, or simply by being there for someone when they need it most.
